28,000 DWT international deep sea, 14 knots, open type multi purpose dry cargo, container and self trimming dry bulk carrier equipped with MAN B&W two stroke diesel engine, 5 sets of hydraulic level luffing cranes and hydraulically operated end folding hatch covers.
The design features of the FANTASY vessels have been developed through research and consultations with our many internationally prominent and successful clients. The latest trends in type, parcel size and trade in international deep sea transportation, the future requirement of ballast handling in restricted waters and not utilising cargo holds for the carriage of ballast water, the latest trends in shipboard manning practices, latest regulations governing pollution, safety and communications have been incorporated in the FANTASY design. Latest developments in structural analysis, ABS Safehull, finite element analysis have also been incorporated in the design.

Open hatch, box hold with corrugated bulkheads, double hull, flush deck with forecastle deck, machinery space and accommodation including navigation bridge located aft.

Developed by the same organization that developed the 'F' series such as "FREEDOM", "FORTUNE", "FRIENDSHIP" and "FREEDOM MK II" type vessels. The well proven design philosophy of the 'F' Series such as cargo flexibility, operational safety and economy and realistic capital cost by series building will be applied on the "FANTASY" series.

The following major characteristics shall be applied:
Worldwide transportation including Panama Canal and Suez Canal. Strengthened for heavy cargoes - cargo hold tank top is strengthened for grab handling
Box shape holds (Corrugated bulkheads) with the application of double hull throughout. Tank top strength 23 t/m2
No ballast water in cargo holds Cargo hatch cover uniform load of 2.5 tons/m2
Self trimming grain loading   Other characteristics:
Ample cargo hold stowage factor of 50 cub. ft/t at designed draught condition Inmarsat B and C and full GMDSS application
Flexibility of carrying various cargoes such as Independent maintenance free refrigeration units for provision cabinets
Dry bulk and break bulk such as grain, metal concentrates, coal, iron ore, bauxite, salt, sugar, cement in bags and scrap metal Independent shower and toilet units for officers and semi-private units for ratings
General cargoes such as ISO containers, steel products, forest products, packaged freight and palletized cargo Plate coolers for central cooling system
Long cargoes such as pipes, bagged cargoes, packaged lumber and deck cargoes Main engine driven draft generator eliminating diesel oil consumption at sea
Centralized fresh water cooling system in engine room
